Earlier this month I had the pleasure of attending the 1st Annual SBOC at INK! Art Gallery in the Castleberry Hills neighborhood of Atlanta. Meeting the burst of sunshine who is Mattie James of Mattieologie, founder of the SBOC along with dozens of other super-fab bloggers from as far away as Seattle, *waves* hi Abiola (of Bora Bora Style), was a blast!
It was also great seeing some familiar faces, including Kimberly Walker of BET.com and EBONY.com, TiaLou of If I Were a Brit Girl, and T'aada White of The Pursuit of Nappiness
Among the panelists was former Essence Mag. beauty editor Tia Williams of Shake Your Beauty blog…
Publicist, Nicole Garner of The Garner Circle PR was there dropping plenty of knowledge along with Alexis Felder of Curls, Coils & Kinks, The Beauty Architect, S.Willis… and many, many others.
